Romantic Gardens Tour
Meeting point: entrance to the Burggarten behind the Albertina on the corner of Goethegase and Hanuschgasse
Duration: 1h 15 min
Itinerary: We will walk through two beautiful gardens in the immediate vicinity of the Ringtrasse – Burggarten and Volksgarten. The tour will end on the playground next to the Town Hall. You will learn, among other things, about the passion of Francis II. for gardening, how Sisi found a mistress to her imperial husband, why the Burgtheater had to be remodelled just few years after its completion and how the architect Friedrich von Schmidt coped with the assignment that the tallest tower of the new town hall should not exceed the tower of the Votivkirche church.
Followed by free time on the playground to get to know each other and have a snack. 🙂

Ringstrasse for Moms with Strollers Tour
Meeting point: in front of Urania building (Schwedenplatz)
Duration: 1h 15 min
We will start the tour at the former Urania observatory and walk one section of this most famous representative boulevard in Vienna. You will see the Art Nouveau building of the Postal Bank and the subway pavilions by architect Otto Wagner, magnificent palaces in the 19th century historicist styles and learn about the unfinished megalomaniacal water canal project from Vienna to Trieste (Italy). We will walk through the beautiful City Park with statues of prominent personalities.
Followed by free time on the playground to get to know each other and have a snack. 🙂
